Trying to decide if I should do Readercon or the Clearwater Festival this year.

Admission is more for Clearwater, but food and shelter will be more at Readercon.

I am burnt to a crisp, still a little mentally fried, and still physically exhausted. It was totally worth it and there's no way I'm not doing it again next year.

I decided I am going to the Clearwater Festival. It will be a little expensive, but not more than I would have spent on Readercon (which I've decided I'm not going back to until I have someone who'll go with me ( Read more... )

As much as I'd love to, it doesn't look like I'm going to go to the Clearwater Festival next weekend. $70 is just a bit much for one day, and while $95 for two days seems more reasonable, I'd then have to arrange for a crash space or a hotel room.

Maybe next year.

I find I like rap/hip-hop better in other languages. For example, I really enjoyed this NPR Tiny Desk Concert by Ana Tijoux.
